Guidelines to Parents |Guardians

  1. Parents should ensure that their wards come to school regularly and punctually, maintain personal hygiene and are dressed neatly in the school uniform.
  2. Parents should provide their specimen signatures in the school almanac.
  3. Parents should notify the school immediately if there is any change in their addres, telephone number or emergency contact person.
  4. Parents are not allowed to meet their children or the teachers, during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
  5. Parents are advised to check the almanac of their wards regularly and ensure that they complete their homework in time.
  6. Parents are requested not to allow students to bring valuables to school. The school does not take responsibility for goods or money lost by students. Further, the school will not be held responsible in any way for the loss of any personal property. children are not permitted to wear any jewellery in school. If they are found doing so, it will be confiscated. Wearing nail paint, colouring/streaking of hair or using ength are required to plait it neatly hair gel is not allowed. Hair longer than shoulder length a Fancy hair clips/bands and ear studs are not allowed.
  7. Parents are requested to be vigilant regarding the literature, friends and companions that their child chooses. Please supervise his/her web surfing and the television programmes she/he views everyday and also the amount of time spent on viewing these programmes daily.
  8. Parents should not allow their children to carry mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets to the school. The defaulter will be heavily fined and the instrument confiscated. The confiscated instrument will be returned only to the parent at the end of the academic session.
  9. Parents are informed that their children may be sent home after three warnings for arriving late. They should regularly check the bags of their wards to ensure that they do not carry objects which may cause harm to others.
  10. Children should be discouraged from buying eatables from street vendors.
  11. All articles found on the school premises will be placed in the Lost and Found Box. Students may claim these within a week, before or after school hours from Maintenance Incharge.
  12. All personal belongings of your child should be labelled so that they may be returned if lost or misplaced. Unclaimed articles will be given to a charitable institution before the summer and winter holidays.
  13. Parents are requested to sign all the answer sheets of various tests and exams to koop track of their ward's academic progress.
  14. Parents should attend Parent-Teachers Meet held periodically along with their child. The school administration does not appreciate their absence from these meetings.
  15. Parents should avoid criticism of the teacher in the presence of the children because it undermines their respect for the teacher and the school.
  16. Parents should dissuade their wards from seeking private tuitions for this makes them unduly dependent on others.
  17. Parents should enroll their wards for free Remedial Classes' in the school if performance of their ward in academics is unsatisfactor
  18. Parents should keep the child at home if he/she is suffering from a contagious disease like mumps, chicken-pox, conjunctivitis. She/he should be sent to school only with a doctor's fitness certificate.
  19. Kindly ensure that the children pack their school bags for school as per the time-table to avoid being overloaded.
  20. Parents should inculcate in their wards respect for persons, property and environment.
  21. Parents/Guardians are requested not to take away their child/ward during school hours unless there is a major, unforeseen eventuality.
  22. Parents should not allow their ward to ride a two wheeler to school unless he has a valid licence and wears a helmet
  23. Parents are requested to avoid making telephone calls to school office unless absolutely necessary.
  24. Do not send any sweets or gifts for distribution among the children or the staff on your child's birthday.
